Located at Rodeløkka, close to Birkelunden, our hostel is surrounded by vibrant restaurants, cafés, and city life. Conveniently close to public transport, with trams and buses departing frequently. Two parking garages available for short- and long-term rentals.


Transport from Gardermoen Airport

The Airport Express train and VY commuter trains take about 25 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardemoen to Oslo S.

Airport shuttles FB1 and FB5 will also take you from Oslo Airport Gardemoen to Bunks at Rode. Get off at Københavngata. This bus stop is about 200 meters from the hostel.

Getting around in Oslo

BY CAR
We have a parking garage in the basement of our building run by OnePark.

We offer both short- and long-term parking

WALKING
Take a stroll through the neighborhood! When the sun is shining, we suggest walking through Sofienberg Park to explore the area.
It doesn’t get mor eco friendly than that.

BY BUS
From Tollboden, next to Oslo Central Station, you can take bus number 30 (towards Nydalen) to Dælenenga. Bunks at Rode is located next to this bus stop.

OSLO CITY BIKE
City bikes is a complement to other forms of transportation around the city. Fast, fun and environmentally friendly.

BY TRAM
You can take trams 11, 12 and 13 to Birkelunden from Oslo Central Station. From there it is about 350 meters to walk to Bunks

The biggest park in the Grünerløkka area is a popular recreational area for the locals.

The park has table tennis tables, a playground, and in the middle of the park lies Sofienberg church.

In the heart of Grünerløkka is Parkteatret, originally built as a Norway's first cinema in 1907. Today it is a popular bar and one of the city's most important concert venues.
